Call to Worship: Luke 7:11-17
And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.
Now, when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and many people of the city were with her.
And now the Lord saw her, and had compassion on her, and he said unto her, Weep not.
And he came and touched the bier; and they who bare it stood still, and he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.
And he who was dead, sat up, and began to speak; and he delivered him to his mother.
And there came a fear on all; and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hat visited his people.
And this rumor of him went forth throughout Judea, and throughout all the region round about.

1. Travis Rester will be celebrating his 90th Birthday on June 17, 2016. He would really enjoy hearing from the church folks, so we are asking for your participation in a “card shower.” Please mail Travis best wishes and greetings to :
Travis Rester
1065 Hillcrest Lane
Mobile, AL 36693
He will enjoy reading the cards and knowing your love and care for him.
2. Reunion is the 14th – 18th of June at Bluff Springs Campground. The theme is “Of Water and Spirit: Disciples in Community of Christ.”
Each child, nursery through Sr. High age, should bring a “white” t-shirt. The kids are going to design their own shirt with water guns and paint. We are going to do our very best to cover the children’s clothes and of course we will not allow them to shoot each other with the water guns and we won’t shoot them either.
I don’t want to give away all our secrets, but Shannon, Holly, Elisa and I are very excited to be a part of your children’s lives in this fun and creative way. We cannot wait to see you there! If you have questions please do not hesitate contact either Shannon or me. Please contact Holly Ellis regarding Senior High questions.

Shannon: phone: 251-421-0934
